The Battle of Pilot Knob marked the beginning of Sterling Price's 1864 invasion of Missouri. The reenactment will be held at Fort Davidson State Historic Site in Pilot Knob September 26-28, 2014 and will be open to the public each day at 8:00 a.m. For more information, contact the historic site at 573-546-3454.

Step back into history at the Hermann Farm Civil War Days! The event will take place September 21-22, 2013, 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. each day, and visitors can interact with the 8th Missouri Cavalry along with other Union and Confederate camps. Be amazed by a water landing of troops off of the ol' Missouri and battle reenactment from atop the ridge.

The 150th anniversary of the Battle of Marshall, located at the Marshall Indian Foothills Park and sponsored by 2nd Missouri Infantry Co. K, Ron Ulrich, military liaison, is a Missouri Civil War Reenactors Association maximum effort event with full amenties, offering $100 bounty for the first 2 cannons on each side, and $50 for the first 25 cavalry horse and rider; two battle recreations on part of the actual battlefield of Col. Joe.
