Morphological characteristics of the red-tailed boa
Red-tailed boa

There are multiple subspecies of red-tailed boas, so their adult body sizes vary. However, they are usually between 2-3m in length, and occasionally they are more than 4m long. Usually, female red-tailed boas are stronger than male red-tailed boas.
Red-tailed anacondas scattered in South America are relatively long. Currently, there are two red-tailed anacondas in Suriname, which are the largest so far. They are 411 cm and 427 cm long respectively. However, this size is more common after all. Generally speaking, it is larger than the 300 cm long red-tailed anaconda, which is considered a giant snake for this kind of snake. The tail of the red-tailed anaconda is quite powerful and can tighten objects. There is no heat-sensing cheek pit on the head. In terms of body color, the body of red-tailed anacondas is mostly red or brown, and the tail is brick red. The back is dominated by brown-yellow patterns, and the tail patterns are lighter.
